Data privacy is of high importance for Silurian and we want to be open and transparent with our processing of your personal data. We therefore have a policy setting out how your personal data will be processed and protected.

Where do we store your data?
The data that we collect from you is stored within the European Union (“EU”).
Personal information collected on our sites and services may be stored and processed in Spain. We may also in accordance with the applicable laws store and process that information in other EU countries in which we, our affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities. By using one of our sites or services, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

Silurian keep your personal information confidential. We will not sell, rent or lease your personal information to others. Visitors to our websites
When someone visits this website we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifying information from any source. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. Facebook Remarketing, Facebook Pixel, and Custom Audiences
For our online business, on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e., interest in the analysis, optimization, and economical operation of our online business), we use “Facebook Pixel” of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). Via Facebook Pixel, Facebook can determine the visitors to our website as a target group for the display of ads, the so-called “Facebook Ads”. Accordingly, we use Facebook Pixel to present the Facebook Ads operated by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our Internet offerings (so-called “Custom Audiences”). This means that, via Facebook Pixel, we would like to ensure that our Facebook Ads are aligned with the potential interest of users and are not perceived as being irritating. The Facebook Pixel is incorporated by Facebook immediately upon one of our websites being viewed and can store a cookie, i.e. a small file, on your device. Content delivery networks (CDNs)
We're using Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) provided by:
- Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, which provides a guarantee to comply with European privacy legislation.
A CDN is an infrastructure of servers located in many parts of the world. It keeps cached content on points of presence that are proximally closer to international users. This helps to deliver our web content faster, especially static or large media files, such as graphics or scripts. The processing of the data of the users takes place solely for the aforementioned purposes and the maintenance of the security and functionality of the CDN.
How do we use cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that is saved to, and, during subsequent visits, retrieved from your computer or mobile device. If you use our services, we will assume that you agree to the use of such cookie.
We use permanent cookies to store your choice of start page and to store your details if you select ”Remember me” when you log in.
